Cape May is in New Jersey, in the Northeast, where four distinct seasons shape local life: hot humid summers, snowy winters that can close businesses for a day, and a dense pattern of towns where walking, transit and street parking all matter. Getting around Cape May is easiest by car; street parking is metered in busy downtown areas, and most suburban businesses have their own lot. Ride-share apps such as Uber and Lyft operate across New Jersey's larger cities, and public transit varies from extensive to minimal.

My boyfriend and I recently did the Sunset U-Pick experience at Hedy’s Flower Farm, and we absolutely loved it! Hedy starts the experience by sharing the story of her flower farm, how it all began, and then gives a quick demonstration on the best way to cut and pick the flowers. The variety of blooms is absolutely breathtaking—nothing like the flowers you typically find at the grocery store. We each created our own bouquet (my boyfriend Ari made one too!), and it was such a relaxing, peaceful way to spend the evening. Even though neither of us has a green thumb, Hedy was incredibly kind, patient, and helpful every step of the way. We both left with beautiful bouquets, big smiles, and wonderful memories. It’s the perfect outing for couples, friends, or anyone looking for a unique experience, and the bouquet also makes a thoughtful gift to bring home to your mom or a friend. We can’t wait to come back!

Such a fun birthday celebration doing the U-Pick at Seashore Flower Farm! Hedy is very friendly and gave us a quick, informative tutorial before we set off to pick our own beautiful flowers. An absolute must-do activity when you're at the shore!

My friends and I came here on my bachelorette party to Cape May and Hedy was prepped and ready with prosecco, music, and snacks. Her property is so beautiful and her presence is so calming. Her knowledge about flowers and arranging them was so interesting and she did a great job informing us without being pushy and letting us make our own arrangements how we wanted to. I would love to return just to pick her brain about her beautiful garden! 10/10 amazing little activity.

I reached out to Seashore for a same day birthday bouquet delivery and owner Hedy made it happen in just a couple of hours! I really appreciate that the flowers were harvested that day, resulting in a beautifully fresh and vibrant piece of art. Hedy was extremely communicative throughout the process and helped me give my sister something special!
